Shiloh UMC (North Carolina)--New clothing and toy drive to support needy children in Appalachia.--Prayer scarves knitted or crocheted by members of the church, worn by pastor & blessed in worship, then given to individuals recovering from injury, illness, or other issue.

Nurturing Our Friends, Neighbors, and Others

Bald Eagle Valley Community UMC (Pennsylvania)
--Provides some assistance (meals, transportation, visits) for individuals following of an illness, surgery, new baby, etc.
--Deliver meals once per month to home-bound parishioners from their church dinners.
--Provide food baskets to needy families in community periodically throughout the year.
--Thursday Men's Prayer Breakfast (Meet in the church parking lot at 7:30 am Thursdays.
--Thursday Release-Time Classes for Elementary School children atending school adjacent to the church.
--Assist FREE Bellefonte Lunch Program (one Wednesday per month)
Highway Clean Up (twice per year)
Provide FREE Christmas Dinner (in house and delivered to anywhere in the county.
